In Paris with no fellow moonwalkers I marked the moment with a brief (2 minute) walk along a canal in the 19th arrondissement. It was a moment's break from a drive with my new acquaintances (Cecile, Stefan and Raphael from Dedale and Manuel a German architect) as we looked for somewhere to eat dinner. The full moon could be spotted shrouded in thin cloud. Our canal side first choice for eating was packed so we squeezed back into the Volkswagen Touran and eventually settled on the splendid Aux Zingots restaurant at 12 Rue de la Fidelite for a huge meal and good conversation.
